Yes, Que Sera Sera is a throwback to simpler days, but Doris Day was one of my all-time favourites growing up.
She was one sophisticated lady with class enough to share with anyone else in the room. She was a true star who seemed to glow on screen and I could never take my eyes off her.
The message in this simple song is, what will be, will be. I can't think of Doris Day without thinking of this classic song. In today's crazy world where there doesn't seem to be an off button on anything anymore, let alone our brains, it's a great reminder to relax, enjoy life and not worry too much about what's to come because after all - what will be, will be.
