It's Black Friday and in keeping with the holiday sales, I've got a two-for-one selection of songs.
Thursday was Thanksgiving in the U.S. which is celebrated with sub- and near-zero parades that involve an inflatable Snoopy. It seems like the day that is getting the most attention in recent years is Black Friday - so I figured why can't it have its own parade? A Black Parade, if you will. The Black Parade is the third album by My Chemical Romance. The first single from the album Welcome to the Black Parade has an amazing video with costumes designed by an Academy Award winner.
My second song is Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey vs. Cedric Gervais. I heard it on the drive into work yesterday, and what can I say? I am a sucker for electronica, which features prominently in this dance remix.
