Summer is on its way and, for graduating teens like me, that means soaking in the sun out by a lake somewhere enjoying the fact that we no longer have to go to high school. Reminiscing on the memories of last summer puts me in a state of longing to be free. I won't deny it: I just graduated and want to raise a little hell. Outdoor concerts and staying up late with friends come to mind along with the song Raise A Little Hell by Trooper. They are a band that if you ask anyone about, they'll probably have some crazy (drunken?) story to tell. I had the pleasure of seeing them last August in Telkwa and that song is still stuck in my head, making me count the days until school is done. Most of you have probably heard the catchy, rebellious tune from the late seventies and would probably agree that it is a great summertime song. So congratulations to the graduating teens of Prince George and enjoy your freedom by raising a little hell of your own.
