Some people listen to music for the words and the message those words deliver. Some even get the message totally messed up because the lyrical meanings are often not what they thought they were.
Others listen for the beat and the tune, but either way it is how the music makes you feel.
In my teenage years I used to listen to a lot of slower, sappy rubbish - some people said I had a real problem - maybe they were right. Some would say I still have a problem. Either way I am one who listens to music for the beat, I don't really care if there are words.
