Christmas used to be my favourite time of year. Then I turned 16 and started to work a retail job at a clothing store in a shopping mall. Nothing disabuses you of the Christmas spirit quicker than people flipping out on you over the addition of a gift box with their scarf purchase. So now, I try to limit my personal Christmas exposure to a few days prior to Dec. 25. Then I'll pull out my own seasonal playlist to score my holiday prep activities. This year, I added tracks from the Diplo-led Mad Decent label release A Very Decent Christmas. Kicking off the EP is Gent & Jawns Turn Up Ye Merry Gentlemen, which - if you're not careful - could lead to some inappropriate rocking around the Christmas tree.
