My taste in music tends to fluctuate through the seasons (some would say it goes from bad to worse).
Hot, sunny summer days put me in the mood for some solid, unpretentious rock n' roll. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a lot of bands putting out new music in that genre right now. The rock n' roll charts are full of Imagine Dragons, Biffy Cylro and other soft, pop-like rock or whiney alt-rock.
But there is some hope. American band Paramore's song Now takes a stab at real rock n' roll, with some punk undertones.
Now was the first single from the band's self-titled fourth album and was released in January.
