Song of the Day

I admit it. I am a disco fan.

I admit it. I am a disco fan. I used to go to a roller disco every Saturday in downtown Dublin, Ireland when I was a teenager and I also had the pants with the three-button high waist band and bell bottoms wide enough that you could rent out as a tent. I'm not sure what it is about the disco music that I like, probably that it generally sounds happy. Maybe that was because of all the drugs that were going around at the time. I haven't listened to any disco music for a while, but yesterday while listening to Dublin radio station fm104 the DJs were doing a segment called Cheesy Tabloid Headlines. This lead to them asking listeners to call in if they had ever set their farts on fire, while in the background playing Disco Inferno by The Trammps from 1976. The song was made famous by the movie Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta. So get your mirror ball ready and check out this disco megahit with band members in their orange jumpsuits here bit.ly/13alslr.
