I haven't been watching the Olympics much this year. Too be fair, I don't usually, outside of the major hockey games and some figure skating and snowboarding events. The 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver were a different story. It was so easy to get swept up in the craze and sit breathlessly in front of the TV, watching events you didn't even know existed but were suddenly a fan of just because a Canadian had a shot at a medal.
Fueling some of this fanaticism was the 2010 Olympics song I Believe, performed by Nikki Yanofsky. I'll be damned if it doesn't still shoot shivers down my back, especially when used to score a montage of Canucks on the podium. Relive the magic: http://youtu.be/9N2tLfGUPwU
