I like listening to different radio stations to see what type of music is playing. I get really tired, really fast of the same tracks being played over and over by some local stations, so much so that I end up either hating some songs or wanting to poke my eardrums with a sharp pencil.
But listening to radio stations from other parts of the world can often help with that potentially nasty hearing problem.
The other day I heard a song called Cheating by John Newman (bit.ly/17QS0FP). It was one of those songs where I immediately wrote the name down and went to Youtube to check it out. The guy has quite a bluesy, rock sound to his tunes, but unfortunately for him his look is very Rick Astley from the '80s.
Turns out Newman had a song called Love Me Again (bit.ly/17QRYxE), which hit No. 1 in England a little while ago. Either of these songs by the 23 year old is well worth listening to or downloading.
