I'm not a big music person - I love music, but I've never been one to follow any sort of scene or keep on top of current trends - but, as I've mentioned previously, there are a couple of artists and bands that I have a deep connection too. Moist was the first.
They were the first musical act that I came to as an individual - not as a kid picking up what my older brother and parents listened to.
Moist's 1996 album Creature was the first CD I had. The song Resurrection was my favourite, despite, as my brother thought, better songs like Tangerine and Gasoline also on the album.
Moist split up in 2001 and my fandom continued on with lead singer David Usher's solo career.
But now Moist is back together and hitting the road for their The Resurrection tour. They're in Vancouver in December for their first limited road trip, with an expanded Canadian tour scheduled for 2014.
