It's the most wonderful time of the year - the week where I indulge myself a fit of narcissism in celebration of my arrival on this Earth.
Since I obviously can't remember it, I decided to take a look and see what was topping the charts as I made my entrance into the world.
The 1980s were a hit-and-miss time for music, so I was quite pleased to see that I was born under the most auspicious of Billboard chart-topping stars - Prince.
Parade, a soundtrack to the 1986 film Under the Cherry Moon, was led by lead single Kiss and marked Prince's departure from purple suits and frilly shirts.
Kiss hit the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart on April 19 and stayed there through April 26 - just long enough to serenade my birth on April 24.
