I don't have any good April Fools' Day stories, which is rather unfortunate, considering my extreme appreciation for schadenfreude.
There have been no toilet seats wrapped in saran wrap, no toothpaste-filled Oreos, no sugar bowls filled with salt. I don't think I've even successfully managed to surreptitiously plant a "Kick Me" sign on someone's back.
I considered copping out today and linking readers to a video where they'd be Rick-rolled, but that seems like a waste of an opportunity for good music.
Instead, I'll harken back to my long-time love of troubadour Jason Mraz.
Before he was known world-wide for songs such as I Won't Give Up or I'm Yours, he was banging around in San Diego coffee shops.
Did I Fool 'Ya was one of those early songs, and you can see a baby-faced Mraz belting it out in 2002 on YouTube: http://youtu.be/_h8rJGZRoqY
