Song of the day

People deal with their winter malaise in different ways. On the weekend, I came across a woman out walking and soaking up the Saturday morning sunshine in extremely short shorts. Sure it was -8 C, but hey - mind over matter.

On the weekend, I came across a woman out walking and soaking up the Saturday morning sunshine in extremely short shorts. Sure it was -8 C, but hey - mind over matter.

I rebel against the interminable Jack Frost in subtler ways, one of which is listening to music that screams "summer."

Last year, British reggae artist Stylo G released a single called Badd, which samples the classic Sister Nancy track, Bam Bam.

Talk about taking you back to summertime, where the living is easy.

The song and corresponding video immediately stirred up memories of a West Indian carnival - getting outside in the blazing sun, dancing up a storm with music blaring so loud you can feel the bass thumping through your veins.
