Are we really a "winter city"???
It's Friday morning, around 8:30 and I'm driving the kids to school.
I live in town, and the roads are such a mess it is appalling.
Even now Fifth Ave around Central has not been done, nor has Carney, which I consider to be main roads in the city.
Didn't see a single city plow truck yesterday or today. Where are they?
If this is "their best" from our city road crews, well, what can I say?
Imagine if the upcoming Winter Games was happening in PG right now rather than 2015 - what a sad image when people can't get around the city.
I almost couldn't get out of my subdivision in Nechako View area this morning, and I have 4-wheel-drive!
This snow dump was not a surprise, it was forecast since last weekend, and after 36-plus hours I think I should see some progress in the snow clearing.
