While I don't like picking on any group in particular, it always peeks my curiosity why people do the things they do. One thing I've recently noticed is that most smokers smoke with their car window down. For the life of me I can't understand why they they perform this ritual. One would assume that they would want to get the most bang for their buck so why roll down the windows? Wouldn't you want to keep the windows up to inhale as much smoke as possible? I must conceede that one advantage to having the windows down is the ease at which the flick can be carried out. We've all seen it before, if not, pay attention. The smoker has their window open, their arm hangs out, they puff and then flick out it goes on the road. This flick is really noticeable at night as you drive down the highway. Sparks light up the road in a shower of oranges and reds.
So smokers, please don't share your smoke with us, keep your windows closed and put your butts in the ashtray not on our roads.
