My concern about no smoking outside in Prince George as of May 1, 2017.
At the CN Centre there is a designated smoking areas outside which smokers use when at hockey games and all other events.
Smokers have been discriminated against for years.
We are treated as second-hand citizens.
Many smokers have no problem going outside to smoke and dispose of our cigarette butts in the garbage not on the ground!
We are of legal age to smoke and smoking is legal!
But the CN Centre serves alcohol at their events and drinking and driving is not legal. Which I have witnessed there!
P.G. has one of the worst air qualities because of the pulp mill, but us smokers are being dictated to once again.
I think the City of Prince George administrators should re-evaluate their concerns about outside smoking.
Welcome to our free country: Canada.
Our taxes should be spent more wisely not on forcing this bylaw.
