When City Council deliberates the annual budget my stress level usually rises for I know I'll be fleeced -- it focuses on the percentage increase not decrease.
That is always a given -- how much? This year our council, except for two (Wilbur and Skakun) decided to add a new dimension to the annual fleecing game.
To put mildly, council and our wordy mayor decided to skin us on top of fleecing us.
How is that for efficiency? I am reminded of the old shock and awe approach unleashed by the Americans.
I'll be in shock until I cast my vote this year -- I hope you will be too.
