Brian Skakun is guilty of what, trying to help people? What he did was wrong, but he did not murder anyone or rape anyone, and this mess should not have been in the court system.
If city hall had handled it the way it should have, it would not have made it to court. So who is guilty?
In the end Brian had to stand alone and that took courage, so I hope he runs for mayor and, like it or not, lots of people still support him. As for him being asked to leave council, I don't think so. I voted for him and I will again.
Lots of councillors make mistakes but they are not dragged through the mud. As for Ann Bailey, she can write a book when her partner leaves the RCMP, about her life in Prince George.
I wish all the people involved in this mess good luck in moving on.
