I'm writing to congratulate all of our newly elected Liberal MLAs, most notably Ellis Ross. I voted for Ellis Ross because I think he is a great representative for the Northwest and I know he will do a solid job.

I have seen firsthand some of the exceptional work Mr. Ross has done for his community as chief of the Haisla Nation. I've also played soccer against him and that can tell you a lot about someone's character. He is truly making a positive difference in the lives of others and he works hard with integrity.

I'd also like to commend the Green Party for making the most of good politics. And then there is the beleaguered NDP party, who will be remembered for having been given a $100 billion legacy fund from Premier Clark and then spend over $100 billion trying not to build a dam and pipeline. We can only hope the next two years in government are as dysfunctional as possible, even if it means throwing away the Crown jewels and spending the rest on pre-election attack ads.

What's the problem with building another dam anyway? It'll give us at least 50-80 years of clean power as long as the water doesn't run out. I don't know about you but I don't plan on living much longer than that and I like using clean power. We could make it really huge and work on it for like 12 years and spend all kinds of money on it, make it earthquake proof and everything. It's the only way we can power the twelve LNG facilities that still need to be built. With all of the revenues earned over time, we could refill the legacy fund for future generations and the government could even afford to pay for free pot and naloxone sites all across the province.

Let's get back to work and make B.C. supernatural again!
