In regards to the article published on Wednesday about sidewalks, it shocks me that there is no money budgeted for sidewalk repair. This is insane. It seems that the powers that be never walk. Too busy giving themselves raises for the "work" they do. The condition of the sidewalks is horrendous in some parts of town. I walk as my regular mode of transportation, and can tell you first hand that large stretches of sidewalks in P.G. are in dire need of repair.
