On Friday, Jan. 19 you ran an article entitled "salt not sewage for the Quinn street transfer station."
In it you said when the Regional District's lease runs out in April the City are considering building a salt shed there and not having a city sani dump. No where in the article was it mentioned what is the fate of the transfer station. If it is to be closed, where is it to be relocated? I am sure many people in the bowl area use that facility especially to recycle garden waste. To have it close just as the spring garden clean up and pruning begins would be a major inconvenience.
I think another article is needed as to what the regional district and the city's plans for the transfer station are.
