Shameful article

I can honestly say without any doubt that I have never felt the need to write in response to an article in your paper ever. However, Mr. Peebles article on white supremacy in PG, and its link to the local music is beyond absurd.

I can honestly say without any doubt that I have never felt the need to write in response to an article in your paper ever. However, Mr. Peebles article on white supremacy in PG, and its link to the local music is beyond absurd.

I find it deeply offensive that someone can merely speculate to a connection between white supremacy and the local music scene, and Mr. Peebles will take that as fact.

It becomes even more disturbing when you realize that the PG Citizen did nothing try and corroborate anything prior to publication.

As someone who has spent the better part of the last 13 years involved within the PG scene, I can whole-heartedly state that I have never witnessed or heard of any nazism/white supremacy or other hate related activities at shows or even involving any bands outside of public venues.

Articles like this, cast a dark shadow over probably the last positive outlet young people have in PG. The only thing Mr. Peebles has accomplished with this absolutely pointless malarkey is tarnishing the reputation of a great community of like-minded music lovers in the eyes of the general public.

Mr. Peebles should be ashamed of himself for not doing his professional duty, which was to actually look into what he's publishing.
