In the Feb. 3 edition of your newspaper there was a letter from a Joanne Schilling regarding the recently-formed independent HST panel.
In the article, Ms. Schilling questioned my independence by stating that I am a former president of the Independent Contractors and Businesses Association (ICBA). That is not the case. I have never had any association with the ICBA. I am, however, a past president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.
