In retrospect, it would have been safer to stand in traffic than go shopping.
A scooter went out of control and rammed me in the legs and would not stop. I'm okay.
I talked to a couple people how they describe scooter people as bullies, impatient and rude. Not all are like this.
I do not begrudge people using these aids, but scooters have to regulated and insured like cars.
Who is going to pay the foot traffic people's injury bills? These machines are very heavy and they can do a lot of damage to foot traffic.
Do these machines have kill switches on them? Foot traffic has no defense against these scooters. There has got to be a way to protect foot traffic from being run over.
