Our provincial government closed many schools. This has a real negative effect, especially in our rural communities. When you lose your school, property values fall, but not the school taxes. Families don't want to live there anymore, if they can sell. Then we hear discussions, about thinking to charge for riding the school buses.
I wonder if one of the Political Parties has an interest to build new schools in our area.
