I wish to comment on the letter wrote by Steven Kakinoosit, appearing in the paper on Jan. 20. Mr. Kakinoosit states that many schools attended by Aboriginal students, are inferior to those attended by other Canadians.
I ask if the reason for this could be because the residents of these communities do not pay taxes, which bring in the funds to purchase labs, vocational programs etc.
Education costs money and someone has to pay for this.
