A month ago I too was scamed by this 30-ish woman, apparently trying to get back to Hazelton, claimed she came down on the Northern Health Bus for tests at UH of NBC and was released too late for the return trip home.
Apparently she had walked around all night waiting for the next Greyhound bus back home. I was approached in the parking lot of Pine Centre Tim Horton's. The woman says that she was waiting for a "safe woman" that could help her find St. Vincent de Paul for food and the $20 that she was short for the bus fare.
I realized too late that I was the one going for a ride.
