Sale of Ron Brent Park doesn’t benefit seniors

I wish to include the following as my opposition to changing park bylaws 8701 and 8702. I have lived in Prince George since May of 1941. I have seen many a mayor and councillors come and go, some good and some bad.

I have lived in Prince George since May of 1941. I have seen many a mayor and councillors come and go, some good and some bad.

It seems many have had their own agenda. The Council of Seniors should be opposing the sale of Ron Brent Park and the change of park bylaws 8701 and 8702. If not, why not? The sale of this park should be vigorously opposed.

This land should be put in reserve for seniors and expansion of Gateway. The university land was put in reserve for a university which we now have.

There is no more room for expansion of Simon Fraser, Jubilee, Laurier or the hospital. The Gateway Lodge area is the only suitable location for such expansion.

The city is not really interested in seniors.

We need another Lance Morgan and a Dr. Kelly to help organize an opposition rally to oppose the sale of Ron Brent Park. Mayor and council have no vision when it comes to seniors.
