The Prince George Brain Injured Group would like to publicly thank those involved in the policy amendments regarding distracted driving and the pending raise in fines starting June.
Through more than doubling these fines, this policy deters the overall possibility of brain injury, as well as other forms of injury, occurring through traffic crashes, involving vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians. With this successfully in effect, our province will hopefully be a safer environment for all road users.
