After reading all the news including your own newspaper reporting and most recent comments from Laura Robinson, she points out that she requested to speak to John Furlong and his publisher and his lawyer for years. In addition the casual non-threatening approach she made at the Canadian newspaper Assoc. meeting of which Furlong was a guest speaker and his response to her I find troubling.
He screamed at her and told her to stop talking about this time in his life and stomped angrily away. She also stated due to time restraints and resources she has lots of leads of this case in Prince George that needs to be told.
Laura Robinson's background in investigative journalism is stellar and books she has written on areas and abuse in hockey should be commended not attacked. News media and private concerned citizens should make sure Laura's work is continued and not swept under the rug.
