I am a pedestrian in the City of Prince George. Since our recent snowfall I have nothing but concerns about the state of our roads and sidewalks. I understand there is a strike looming but is that any excuse to neglect the very people who voted for this government and I use that term loosely.
I am a father of two young kids one of which is still in a stroller. I and my wife had to plow through snow up to our knees while carrying the stroller. We couldn't tell where the sidewalk ended and the road began.
This is unacceptable. I wont take there is no money for an excuse if our mayor stopped going to China and started worrying about us maybe she might get re-elected.. Having unplowed roads can also be life threatening. How is an ambulance, police car or fire truck going to get to us in the event of an emergency?
Since Shari Green took the mayor's seat we have had the worst roads two years in a row, we have had city services cut and now for the first time ever, we have a strike.
Is this how Shari Green wants to be remembered as mayor? What good has she done for us?
