Shame on the RCMP. I spent all day Saturday volunteering with search and rescue in my own boat watching for river floaters in distress.
The RCMP thought it would be a good idea to go out and ticket violators for open alcohol. But when the day was done, the boat was loaded on the trailer, time to go home for dinner.
Would you not expect at least one officer checking for impaired drivers on or close to river road, where the tubers were expected to all get in their cars and drive home?
But I did not see a single one. Thanks for lining your pockets and keeping the streets safe from drunk drivers guys.
