It's time to rectify an old injustice affecting my family. My ancestors were forced to move from Ireland in the early 1800s because of the potato famine and other discriminatory policies of the ruling British elite. I believe the Queen of England owes my family an apology and, perhaps, repatriations, too! And a fitting tribute would be to rename British Columbia with the new name of Nova Ireland.
