To all those with sleep apnea, please read and take notice.
This may save you a lot of heartache and problems. I found CPAP machines on the Internet for half the price of local respiratory companies' price. I contacted the American retailers only to find out there would be minimal warranty and they could not diagnose, recommend the right application or service the client. I contacted a local respiratory expert and was informed what all goes into their price. Was I glad I chose not to buy from the Internet where there are "no returns" plus it is 1 in 100 (or worse) chance you will even get the right one.
Now comes my payoff - the Dept. Of Motor Vehicles sent me a letter requiring proof that I understand my Apnea, treat it properly, am properly diagnosed and show proof it is being monitored. I could have lost my license.
Be careful, folks! Go to a respiratory experts and do it right. You'll be sorry if you don't.
