Five years ago, Harper's Conservatives were elected with 40 per cent of the vote, meaning 60 per cent of Canadians did not support them.
Are we going to repeat this, electing Harper to another term with potentially an even smaller "majority?"
I am writing to beg you to vote strategically by voting for the candidate in your riding who has the best chance of defeating the Conservative candidate.
In Cariboo-Prince George that means voting for Trent Derrick and the NDP.
Your children will thank you for rejecting the police state that Harper is peddling with his racist scare tactics.
Your parents will thank you for voting for a party that will give a hand to our veterans, rather than returning veterans' funding to Harper's coffers.
Your children will thank you for the jobs provided by investment in education rather than Harper's oil-focused economic development that makes Canada an environmental pariah.
Your parents will thank you for supporting their needs as they age rather than gutting government services.
All across Canada, people will thank you for setting aside your differences and voting for the strongest non-Conservative candidate.
Please vote for change, and if you don't usually vote, vote for a change.
