It is with disappointment to confirm many serious inaccuracies from Mr. Burgess' last letter.

It is unfortunate, Mr. Burgess continues to nurture his divine passion to allow the visual devastation of select derelict properties and maintain his special comfort of the status quo, to exercise failed legislation that avoids any responsible correction to derelict properties.

This complete disregard of conduct ultimately confirms the typical nature of the regional district.

This reckless legislation representing the derelict properties bylaw stresses just how incredibly important it is that elected officials must never assume a natural complacency when faltering legislation favours only the best interest of the elected official. Any governing bodies taking advantage of negligent bylaws provides an easy excuse to employ this routine inaction and ultimately reinforces this neglectful conduct. Why Mr. Burgess prefers to support a failing bylaw is extremely shameful.

This just further proves the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George is in need of a major overhaul to bring about any responsible change. It's quite obvious habitual failures die hard.

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George, in conjunction with MLA Shirley Bond, are well aware of all the essential facts needed to install quality workable solutions to this neglected situation.

Unfortunately, these two governing bodies solidly choose to oppose responsible change to help remedy literally decades of inaction pertaining the so-called derelict properties bylaw.

The deluded conduct of these two levels of government has been nothing more then a blatant disrespect to all taxpayers.
