During the recent construction of our new home we had the misfortune of experiencing a break and enter. In addition to damage to our home, a large number of tools and some construction material were stolen. This included several tools given to me by my now deceased dad.
Throughout the lengthy investigation, I was impressed and grateful for the courtesy, professional and skilled service of the RCMP.
Within a short time of my 911 call, Cst. M. Crist arrived on the scene followed by Cst. Keen who dusted the house for prints. It was interesting to watch. Cst. Keen looked at a number of foot prints for just a few seconds and then announced "that print doesn't belong here." They all looked the same to me.
Within a few hours some of my possessions, which I didn't ever know I had lost yet, were recovered by Cst. Crist.
A few weeks ago a warrant was issued for the arrest of a suspect and hopefully justice will soon be dispensed.
