Thumbs up to the RCMP.
I frequently walk on heritage trail by the river.
This morning our walk was interrupted by quite the police incident.
Two cops on foot with a dog burst on the scene about 30 feet away from us.
The dog appeared to rip at the leg of a person on a motorcycle and pulled the bike over and the two officers pounced on him.
We thought it was over and continued on our walk, on the way back we came to the police tape at the replica bridge and had nowhere to go and could not get back to our car.
The police indicated it was a large investigation.
They took two police cars to transport four of us back to our car and keep us safe!
My hat goes off to them for a job well done from my perspective, and to again ensure our safety.
So a great big two thumbs up to the RCMP!
