I've let a bit of time pass before writing in. So here are some of my opinions, keeping in mind that we in Canada still have freedom of speech.
1. Prince Minister Trudeau, I still think you are better than Harper, but I hope when old Trump tells you to jump, I hope to heck you don't ask how high? Also, please don't take any advice from Mulroney.
2. Thank you Baljit Sethi of IMSS. 40 years ago you started the society to help bring new people from other lands to have a good life. Now, as I understand, you have been forced out. I do not think that's right.
3. Quesnel has a beautiful jewel at where Beavermouth and Quesnel River meet. It is a lovely area with campsites and people can drive, hike, bike in. But there is a dark side. The outdoor toilets are gross. I thought they were to be pumped out regularly. Isn't anyone checking on these sites? Remember tourists will remember these sites and all over B.C. Where is our pride?
4. In this day and age, people in their seventies and eighties are doing more activities. You just have to look in The Citizen about volunteers of all ages helping. Also Citizen Extra tells of older people doing what they can to help. Remember Judge Judy said 70s are the 50s, the 80s are the 60s etc.
5. Regarding voting. I'm mixed up. I don't like the B.C. Liberals. I'm not impressed with NDP. I really like Hillary Crowley. She is still trying to get long sought 20 seats for physiotherapy programs at UNBC. After surgery a person needs physio and there is not enough in PG. Also, remember forestry pretty well built B.C. And the money that Christy Clark is throwing out is our money to begin with.
