Questions for the Liberals

A few questions for Christy Clark and the Liberal Party. I've seen quite a few commercials touting your promise for controlled responsible spending.

A few questions for Christy Clark and the Liberal Party.

I've seen quite a few commercials touting your promise for controlled responsible spending.

Where was your responsible spending when you signed off on the spending of $15 million of taxpayers money to run those partisan domino ads, and when you decided to spend $12 million of taxpayers money to have a Bollywood awards party in Vancouver to buy the ethnic vote?

And then the $6 million to pay the legal bills for Bassi and Virk, why do we, the taxpayer have to pay the legal bills for criminals who plead guilty? I wonder if this was because had the case gone to trial, more of the mud discovered would have stuck to liberal party candidates? Not sure about that, but it does look suspicious. How short do you think our memory is?

If that's looking after our interest, and if that is controlled responsible spending, I'm the Queen of England, and I have a bridge to sell you.

All this so-called responsible spending adds up to 33 million dollars, which would have been better spend on the rehab centre at UHNBC. It would have paid for ten years of wages for an extra speech therapist, and a physiotherapist, both are badly needed, and would have given the rehab centre a much-needed facelift and bought some new and much-needed equipment. It might even have put a few bucks in home care.

I'm sorry Christy Clark and the Liberal Party, but you bring to mind Marie Antoinette, who told the peasants to eat cake, when they could not afford to buy bread. We need not have a party in Vancouver, or have you tell us how wonderful the governing party is doing, by buying fancy adds. Do you think we are too stupid to see and remember your dismal record of the last 12 years? First election: No we will not sell B.C. Rail, well we all know what happened there, and the unholy mess your Liberal Party created. Second election: No we will not implement the HST, well we all know what happened there, lied to for the second time.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, so please don't come and ask me to vote Liberal, and be lied to for a third time.
