To the editor,

I would like to make a few observations on the new police building.

I think the one that is being proposed is a bit to grandiose, I think that it should be more in keeping with the other office building on Victoria Street.

It should be at least seven or eight floors and should have an emporium on the street level with a grocer's store maybe coffee shop some other stores that would be suitable also a couple of good restaurants like Swiss Chalet and Red Lobster.

The police would have at least five floors they could also have a separate elevator for police only. The other floors could either be office space or apartment's or condos, these could be either rented or sold and could house single police officers or married officers with no children, or other people who wish to buy.

This would help to rejuvenate the downtown giving people the chance to live and shop in that area. I think a building like this would not cost any more than the one that has been proposed for that site. It would be good to here some remarks on this letter.

Thank you,
