Why contaminate another part of Prince George so that 80 buses can be maintained at the base of University Way?
Development services at city hall would rather have a brand new industrial site on green belt land than decontaminate an already existing industrial area.
Yes, money from the Federal Public Transit Infrastructure Fund needs to be spent by March 2019, but an existing zone site could be cleaned up and other zoning put in place in that time if there is a willingness to do so.
All the comments on the city website for this transit facility are against the location at 18th Avenue and Foothills Boulevard.
Why pave trails in parkland for walkers, dog owners, runners, cyclists, kids in buggies, etc. if the open area is to be destroyed?
