I have a friend who is a senior (71).
Most of her family lives here and a lot of her friends. The rent here is so high that when she was visiting a friend in Abbotsford and found she could rent a one-bedroom apartment for $635 a month, with a pool and covered parking, she went for it.
I think it's terrible that the rent is so high. If this news gets out I wonder how many seniors with just their government pensions will remain.
