On a recent visit to my hometown of Prince George, I was aghast and saddened by the current state of the roads.
Growing up in Prince George in the 70s and 80s at a time with much more severe climate than in recent years, I have never seen potholes such as these. As I drove around town with my family, my two young and imaginative children thought the potholes were moon craters and asked if we were visiting outer space.
Prince George is a city with a lot to offer and I have many fond memories of growing up here. Let's get the roads under control so that tourists will want to come back and visit and that all folk alike can get around appropriately and enjoy.
