I fully agree with Cpl. Craig Douglass having his law enforcement officers to visibly pack C8 carbines. A faceoff between a nut case that could be packing a C8 carbine or equivalent is a possibility anywhere these days .
The old saying that it's best to be prepared and not have to than to have to and not be prepared certainly stands true in this case. One would be sending one of our Queen's finest with a knife to a gun fight .
On a lighter side, our school education system could help stomp out bullying by having schools teaching self-defence.Gym classes in all schools should involve wrestling, boxing and martial-arts training so all kids can learn how to defend themselves against bullying.
