PM has failed on promises

When Harper became prime minister, he did so on the promise of establishing a triple-E Senate - equal, elected and effective.

When Harper became prime minister, he did so on the promise of establishing a triple-E Senate - equal, elected and effective.

Now that senators have enabled themselves to send partisan propaganda to Canadians, Harper's failure to act on his promise of Senate reform has become all the more glaring.

How can senators continue to offer pause for cautionary thought if they're busy sending partisan leaflets to our doorsteps? Moreover, why should taxpayers have to pay for this? How much further from Harper's commitment to Senate reform will he stray?

Each day the Senate loses more credibility, and so far, Harper has delivered on none of what he promised.
