Please note: the dog is fine

To those folks who have to leave their pets in the house. I have to leave mine in the house too. I came home and I had a notice on the door from the SPCA.

To those folks who have to leave their pets in the house. I have to leave mine in the house too.

I came home and I had a notice on the door from the SPCA. Oh my, now what? So I went down to the SPCA and I'm told that my dog was in the house and the heat was 34 degrees. What do I do? Do I leave him in the car? It's illegal.

I have a beautiful St. Bernard, he weights 238 lbs. When I leave the house, he goes to the bedroom on his own bed where he is comfortable, the curtains are closed, the window open and a fan is on him. He has access to water all day long. I can't have an air conditioner because it causes him to sneeze. I take exceptional care of him and he is loved.

So, I say to those who called the SPCA to mind your own damn business. By the way, my dog has his city license, has tattoo identification, and is never loose nor has he been lost. Clean up your own backyard before worrying about someone else's.
