They say that the squeaky wheel gets the grease so I am hoping it does regarding what I feel is a safety issue. I was visiting my parents today who live near La Salle Road - which is near Queensway and my dad and I decided to take a walk to the park behind the Resource Centre on La Salle. There is a children's playground there and to my dismay I saw a whole bunch of big branches and some sharp sticking up ones as well near the playground. My concern is children who decide to check it out would get hurt. Whether the playground is in use by any organization is irrelevant because if even one child got hurt there that is one child too many. So whoever chopped these trees down needs to clean them up and I suspect that is likely the city.
