The current education minister does not seem to understand that the first requirement of the job is to have the province's children in school from early September till late June. He seems to think it is OK to keep schools closed until he has broken the union however long that might take. His premier is remiss for not reminding him of his proper function and handing him a pink slip for failing to do his job. She should have let the finance minister go two weeks ago when he came up with the hare brained idea of handing out money taken from the province's taxpayers to a fortunate few who apparently won a birth date lottery. Only in Lotus Land could such a thing happen. People over east must be splitting their sides.
