During my recent visit with family In P.G., I attended my grandson's first soccer game of the year. As a past mini-director and president of PGYSA, I was so impressed with the way the opening games were conducted. Utilizing "select" team members to conduct skill drills and assist coaches is an excellent way to develop the game. Seeing the smiles on the youngest players and the enjoyment of parents and coaches was a testament to the positive direction of the soccer association. It is great to know that my time as a volunteer was not wasted; the time, energy and efforts of the PGYSA and its many volunteers is worthy of praise. Prince George is no longer my home, however it is awesome to see the community is serving its youth so well. Keep up the great work, P.G.
